Education
Friends of Haiti partners with the local people to start and maintain schools for the children of Haiti. Donations of money and school supplies are made available to increase the opportunities for education for the children. Money provides partial salaries for the teachers. Provisions of school supplies began in 2001. And monetary support for schools began in 2002.
